Therapy
Therapy at Healing Deep Roots Counseling offers a safe, affirming space to explore emotions, process trauma, and reconnect with your peace. Rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, each session supports healing that reflects your story, your culture, and your goals.
We specialize in working with women struggling with childhood/adulthood trauma and grief related to trauma including loss of self using a Christian based approach.

I am a Board-Approved Supervisor through the Texas State Board of Examiners for Professional Counselors, offering virtual supervision to LPC Associates across Texas. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
1. How much does a therapy session cost?
Self–pay rates for therapy are $150 for the initial intake and $130 for a 45-55 minute session. Payment is due at each session using a secure, HIPPA-compliant portal (card), Care Credit, HSA/FSA Card, or Ivy Pay (bank payment). Rates may vary if you are using insurance or EAP benefits.
2. How long is a therapy session?
The initial intake session lasts about 50-60 minutes. Standard follow-up sessions are 45-55 minutes. Session length and cost vary based on your insurance or EAP coverage.
3. How often is it recommended to attend therapy?
We recommend weekly or biweekly sessions until your goals are met and frequency can be adjusted based on your individual needs and progress. This is discussed on a case by case basis at the end of each appointment.
4. Do you offer virtual and in-person services?
Yes. In addition to in-person services, we offer secure, private teletherapy sessions so you can meet with your licensed therapists from home.
5. Do you offer couples or family counseling?
Not at this time, but couples and family counseling services are coming soon.
6. Do you offer therapy to minors?
Yes, we provide individual therapy for minors aged 14 and older.

We currently provide therapy services in Texas, Nevada, and Florida.
